The Foster Family History Blog

I have created this blog in order to keep track of my research on the Foster side of my family. I have been researching since 2006 and have been in contact with a lot of other researchers. I figured this was a good way to document what I find.
I am researching the Robert Sinclair Foster Family. Robt. Sinclair Foster was born 20 Feb 1807 in Abbeville, SC. He moved to Georgia late 1820's to early 1830. He married Margaret Allison 25th Nov 1830. They had eight children together. One of which is my Great Great Grandfather Moses Little Foster.
Moses was born in Gwinnett County 30th July 1846. Shortly after he was born the Foster family moved to Floyd County Georgia (1850 U.S. Census). Moses resided in Calhoun, GA with his brother, Thomas Allison Foster, for a short time. He served in the Confederate Army from 1862-1865. He was also the Tax Collector for Gordon County, GA from 1885-1887. Moses had six children with his wife Malissa Arkansas Pullliam. One was my Great Grandfather, Samuel Robert Foster.
